Trust and Reputation in Distributed Systems
Samek, Jan ; Návrat,, Pavol (referee) ; Šafařík,, Jiří (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This Ph.D. thesis deals with trust modelling for distributed systems especially to multi-context trust modelling for multi-agent distributed systems. There exists many trust and reputation models but most of them do not dealt with the multi-context property of trust or reputation. Therefore, the main focus of this thesis is on analysis of multi-context trust based models and provides main assumptions for new fully multi-contextual trust model on the bases of them. The main part of this thesis is in providing new formal multi-context trust model which are able to build, update and maintain trust value for different aspects (contexts) of the single entity in the multi-agent system. In our proposal, trust value can be built on the bases of direct interactions or on the bases on recommendations and reputation. Moreover we assume that some context of one agent is not fully independent and on the bases of trust about one of them we are able to infer trust to another's. Main contribution of this new model is increasing the efficiency in agent decision making in terms of optimal partner selection for interactions. Proposed model was verified by implementing prototype of multi-agent system when trust was used for agents' decision making and acting.
Multi-Context Reputation System for WWW
Kadlec, Petr ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This Diploma Thesis introduces the basic concepts of reputation and trust, reputation systems and problems of multi-contextual models of reputation. It also describes practical aspects of multi-contextual models in web environment. Described contextual models are then used for design and implementation of real web application.
Trust Models in Computer Systems
Galbička, Lukáš ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with modeling of trust and reputation in multi-agent systems. It provides information about the basic concepts related to trust between agents. Several models based on trust are presented, one of which is chosen as a subject of measurements verifying its functionality. Possibilities for the model's improvement are explored based on the results of the measurements.

Multiple-Context Trust Model for a Social Network Using Personality Analysis
Analysis of wireless network attacks
Kačic, Matej ; Dočkal,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This work describes security mechanisms of wireless network based on 802.11 standard and security enhancement 802.11i of these networks known as WPA2, where the analysis of vulnerabilities and attacks on these networks were performed. The work discusses two major security issues. The first is unsecure management frames responsible for vulnerability with direct impact on availability and the other is the vulnerability that allows executing the impersonalize type of attacks. The system for generation attacks was designed to realize any attack very fast and efficient. The core of the thesis is the design of a system for attack analysis using the principle of trust and reputation computation. The conclusion of the work is devoted to experimenting with the proposed system, especially with the selection of suitable metrics for calculating the trust value.

Trust and Reputation in Distributed Systems
Malačka, Ondřej ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is to design and implement agent system for dealing with sportsmen. It will be possible to apply trust and reputation principles on this system. This system is implemented in Jason agent language. Agents there posing as sports club managers. The main target of these managers is to have the maximal profit. The environment of agents is changing by playing the matches between the teams. Players quality evalution follows the played matches. Based on played matches, managers can evaluate the worth of each player and trade them in order to achieve the maximal possible profit. Untrustworthy agents take a place in this system. These agents overvalue their players using inccorect behavior. The experiments will be made within this masters's thesis in order to compare gain of apllication trust and reputation principles.
